Shop + Restock was created to address common frustrations that customers experience with shopping and delivery platforms, including inaccurate orders, limited communication, accessibility challenges, and a lack of accountability from these platforms.
That’s why our business model is intentional, unique, and built to evolve alongside our customers, clients, and contractors. Accountability starts with our contractor vetting and verification process. We don’t view vetting as a one-time step. Our process includes ongoing verification throughout the contractor relationship and across the ordering, fulfillment, and delivery process. Our customers should have confidence in who is handling their orders, while our clients should have confidence in the team members performing assignments on their behalf. Customer service should also be accessible and immediate, without unnecessary steps or barriers between you and someone who can help.
We’re not building this from behind a desk. Our founding team members will be hands-on in the field for upwards to a year, working alongside our independent contractors as we establish and expand our network in each market.
Our team members aren’t simply given a vague set of instructions and a few reference photos and expected to figure out the assignment on their own. They become familiar with the retailers, the environments, and the assignments they perform, allowing them to know what to look for and how to collect the information our clients need. We also take a proactive approach to coordinating assignments when appropriate, helping create a smoother experience for both our team members and the locations they visit.
That hands-on approach gives us greater visibility into the work being performed and allows us to build consistency, accuracy, and quality into our field operations from the start.
